Quintessense: A High-Tech Wellness Center for Mindful Change

A Unique Fusion of Modernity and Nature

Quintessense stands out from other wellness centers with its unique combination of progressive technologies and ancient healing practices. The interior design aims to create a calm and meditative atmosphere that aids in recovery and allows for contemplation. It places great importance on the individual's personality and well-being.

The center features a double-height area with a six-meter-high ceiling, occupying the central part of the ground floor. Here, guests can find a relaxation area, a bar and café serving healthy food and drinks, and an oxygen bar. The most striking element of the interior is the streamlined bar, made from the designer's own resin, symbolizing the flow of life from the past to the high-tech future.

Adding to the tranquil ambiance is a meditative installation hanging from the ceiling, gently swaying with the flow of air. It resembles a floating cloud or an object carried by a warm sea breeze, providing a regenerative and relaxing effect. Art objects are not merely decorative but integral parts of the interior itself. The walls are adorned with panels created by an artist based on the designer's sketches.

Spanning 327 square meters, Quintessense is a testament to the designer's ability to effectively utilize space. Despite its relatively small size, the center offers various areas that ensure the privacy of guests within an intimate atmosphere. Overcoming the challenge of fitting multiple spaces into the premises, each area is visually beautiful and comfortable.

The project, which started in 2019 and was completed in 2020, is located in the prestigious residential area of Khamovniki in Moscow, Russia. Quintessense has garnered recognition for its exceptional design, winning the Bronze A' Design Award in 2021 for Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design. This accolade is a testament to the center's incorporation of best practices in art, science, design, and technology, contributing to an improved quality of life.

Quintessense is not just a wellness center; it is a sanctuary where modern individuals can find solace, rejuvenation, and a renewed sense of self. Valeria Senkina and her team, including Julia Lenskaya and Svetlana Simonova, have created a space that seamlessly blends innovation, nature, and mindfulness, making it a truly unique destination.
